
Light, creamy, and packed with beef protein and collagen for a high-protein start to your day.
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 5 scoops Nzprotein chocolate beef protein
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2-3 wheat biscuits (depends on texture preference: more = firmer mousse)
- 2 tbsp collagen powder (this is an optional add on)
Optional topping ideas
- Yoghurt of choice
- Nzprotein white chocolate drops
- Nzprotein sugar free dark chocolate chips
- Nzprotein caramel flavoured syrup
- Fresh or frozen berries
Directions
Add all mousse ingredients into a blender (not the optional toppings).
Blend on high until fluffy and full of air then pour immediately into bowls.
Place in freezer for 40 minutes to speed up setting process then transfer to fridge.
Once firm - enjoy with desired toppings. Makes 2 serves.
Troubleshooting
If mixture is blended for too long or left to sit on bench the bubbles which give it the mousse texture will disappear. If this happens place mixture in fridge for 40 minutes then beat with an electric beater on high to fill back up with bubbles and put in the freezer as per later part of the instructions.
If you are wanting a firmer mousse add more wheetbix
